Welcome to Wexford Wanderers, founded in 1924, a family friendly, welcoming and inclusive rugby club based just outside Wexford town, in the sunny South East of Ireland.
Our centenary is on 7 th October 2024 and we are currently working on improvements to our facilities in time for this major milestone.
We are also compiling the history of the club as well as planning for events to celebrate this important anniversary year.
If you have any information or memorabilia concerning the club, particularly from it’s early years, please contact wxwhistory@gmail.com
We are based in the townland of Park, overlooking the river Slaney.
The club colours are white, blue and black jerseys, with blue and black socks and black knicks.
We field men’s and women’s teams in the South East and Leinster Leagues and we have very active boys and girls sections catering for minis (under 7 to under 12) and youths (under 13 to under 19).
We also have an enthusiastic group of young mixed ability rugby players who will warmly welcome new comers.
Our cricket section fields at both adult and youth levels in the Leinster League from April to September each year.
We have our own grounds incorporating three pitches, all floodlit, a clubhouse and a gymnasium.
The club also has a thriving social scene with a wide range of fun activities and events, for all ages and interests, throughout the year.
You can check in to our social media channels regularly for news and updates on events:
New members, playing or otherwise, are always welcome and we would love to see you at here at Park.
